Presomnia

by MuN

Willem Verhappen thumbnail
Willem Verhappen Poland is known for its typical death metal, as well as its distinctive doom metal. MuN proves to have mastered the latter, while retaining their own sound by incorporating elements of the former. Top it off with some post metal dynamics and you've got an absolute beast of a record. Favorite track: Scowl.
Lute FP
Lute FP thumbnail
Lute FP Sort of like desert rock with some psychedelic flavours, but heavy enough to call doom or metal. Killer clean vocals sung from the chest, offset with harsh vocals that work well to keep things interesting.
FDJ (Desert Psychlist)
FDJ (Desert Psychlist) thumbnail
FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Heavy as a truck load of mercury yet shot through with elements of complex prog and ambient post-rock textures as well as possessing its fair share of psychedelic adventuring and stoner metal/doom grunt!

Scowl 07:20
Spark hits the eye Cracks a certain darkness Lie Sweet lie I am relying on now Blink of an oath Bond with untold Rules being scold At least that's what I thought, seeing what I saw In the blackness, white threshold … in pitch black. Twitch of nerves In dead-calm limbs palette of movements In bright monuments At least that's what I thought, seeing what I saw Phosphene Entity illuminating The destiny THE DESTINY

Arthur 06:00
If I opened my eyes, I might as well keep dreaming with my hands straightened out, I have a sky to reach with a familiar beginning sun blinds the end A long way ahead of me even though I can't move my feet Who knows? Maybe I'll be the first to come up with words evoking joy Can someone turn off the hiss i've got all the sounds to hear with my ears One day I'll write a symphony out of that noise The only note missing is tone of my voice I'll pick up the book that the man before me started I'll finish it for him and when day comes I'll tell him the ending If I was born I won't die alone I wonder if when I get old I'll remember the lyrics of that song I've got all the rights I posses strenght endurance vitality Dear world just let me be Dont inject apathy dont force me to kneel
4.
Topple 04:48
Where whispers of ancestors fade away And such a cold wind That lives and gathers dust On seven golden skulls Around them lie towers of paper with words, all the words. Left to rot To transform into mold Time held its breath when I took a step. The reality check is a beating heart and flowing blood light is a bastard, lying right in the eyes Demise is a simple word. But I'm still holding on. I simply transgress. Not like this Landscape covered with Fog... Let me out. Let me get old. Let me die If someone were here, they would say it was just a dream. Really? Is that a thing? Maybe I was chosen to swim through the colors of reality. I'm not going to die being old.
5.
Deceit 02:02
Home.
6.
Verity 08:21
Cacophony The rules have not changed, chaos remains Into the wild Deeper into the woods, I'm starving Where is food? I'm out of water and hope For how long My lips are rumbling the mourning song Old Wise One Hum me the tone In your choir, I sing alone
7.
Decree 13:03
I lived a thousand hours filled with joy AND HE TOOK IT I menaged to describe the taste of love AND HE TOO IT Surrounded myself with like minded souls AND HE TOOK IT I kept a smile on my face for better or worse AND HE TOOK IT Pulled it together to acceptable level AND HE TOOK IT I dispelled my fears i shall not stand by them never and ever and ever AND HE TOOK IT Can't find the wormth of my women CAUSE HE TOOK IT Can't hear the laught of my child CAUSE HE TOOK IT HERE COMES THE SUN BY THE SHINNING MARK I LAY A CURSE ON YOU
